EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS KIT

During most serious emergencies, families may need to be self-reliant for about three days.  Using the checklist that follows put together an "emergency preparedness kit" with supplies for each member of your family.

•  Flashlight with fresh batteries

•  Portable radio with fresh batteries 

• Bottled water

•  Non-perishable canned goods and can opener

•  Bottle and can opener

•  Basic first aid supplies

•  Fire extinguisher

•  Hygiene products

•  Change of clothes

•  Blanket or sleeping bag

•  3-day supply of medication (if necessary)

•  Baby food, diapers, etc. (if necessary)

•  Pet food (if necessary)

•  Money
